Privacy policy

To rent you a vehicle we collect your name, contact details, date of birth, billing address, driver’s licence details and images, a selfie used for identity matching, and the results of the identity checks our verification provider performs. We also record the details of your rentals: dates, vehicles, locations, charges, inspections and the documents you sign.

We do not collect or store card numbers. Payment details are captured directly by our payment provider, and we retain only their reference, the card brand and the last four digits.

To complete the rental you asked for; to meet our legal obligations as a vehicle rental operator; to prevent fraud and protect our fleet; and to contact you about your reservation. We use your information for marketing only if you have asked us to, and you can withdraw that at any time from your account.

Identity documents and inspection photographs are stored in encrypted private storage. They have no public URL and cannot be reached by guessing a link. Access requires both a short-lived signed URL and an authenticated session belonging to someone entitled to see the file.

Every time a member of staff opens one of your identity documents, that access is recorded against their name, with the time, the document and the device. You can see that record on request.

Our payment provider, to process payments and deposits. Our identity verification provider, to confirm you are who you say you are. Our email and SMS providers, to send you confirmations and reminders. Law enforcement or a toll or citation authority where we are legally required to identify the driver of a vehicle at a particular time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Identity documents are retained for seven years after your last rental, in line with our obligations as a rental operator, and then deleted. Financial records, signed agreements and audit records are retained for the periods required by law. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Requests are handled by our team and completed within thirty days; contact the concierge desk or email us to raise one.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember an in-progress booking so you do not lose it if you close the tab. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
